| Bio: | General Information Name: Shatterstar, Gaveedra-Seven, Benjamin Russell Nicknames: ‘Star Codename: Shatterstar Age: Undetermined Gender: Male Powers Description of Powers: Shatterstar possesses an overall superhuman level of physical and mental power (senses, strength, speed, reflexes, agility, dexterity, coordination, balance, endurance), as a result of the extra-dimensional genetic engineering that created him. He is an excellent strategist and has had extensive training in many forms of the martial arts of Mojoworld; in particular, he is a master swordsman. His bones are hollow but extremely durable, making him far lighter than he looks and further increasing his athletic and acrobatic skills. He also has enhanced learning capabilities, being able to quickly learn and master languages and technology. He customarily wields two swords and on occasion carries other weaponry as well. Shatterstar is able to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue much faster than an ordinary human. Injuries such as slashes and stabbings heal completely within a matter of hours. Additionally, his body possesses the ability to shift his internal organs within his body, lessening the chances of serious wounds. He also has the mutant ability to channel and generate powerful vibratory shock waves (and perhaps bio-electricity) charges through these blades, though he rarely uses them as they tend to exhaust him, and prefers to depend instead on his martial prowess. He is very handsome—bordering on beautiful—with graceful, interesting features and a sensual mouth. He is the kind of guy that people stop to stare at, but there is something about the way he shows expressions that makes people wary of him. He often wears a black starburst pattern over one eye—this is done with paint and is not permanent. Build: Athletic, toned, nearly perfect. He is built for martial arts, and it is clear he has perfect control over his body. Dress Style: Things that are loose and easy to move in. His wardrobe choices have become increasingly street influenced—especially Mexican. He’d be just as comfortable naked or in full armor, however. He was raised in Mojoworld and trained from infancy to be a gladiator. For a long time, that’s all he knew—and he was very, very good at it. He has advanced knowledge of most weapons, though he prefers his two swords and martial skills. There has never been a time when he has been without some kind of weapon, and killing is as natural to him as breathing. He escaped the arena, however, and joined the Cadre Freedom Fighters. This lead to Spiral transporting him to Earth, where he met Cable and joined X-Force. There his new friends slowly began teaching him how to survive in a human world, including coaxing out a dry sense of humor and emotions he wasn’t always certain he wanted to own. He adventured with them, learning and growing as a person until Spiral merged him with the body of Benjamin Russell, a mutant boy who had been in a coma since manifestation. This merge changed ‘Star in very real ways. Before the merge, he had been completely asexual. After it, he began feeling sexual desire and emotional longing he didn’t know how to control. It has made him weaker emotionally and has left him open to manipulation. Presently, ‘Star is struggling with his strong attraction to his teammate and best friend, uncertain whether his feelings are something he should embrace or conquer.
